Common Barbershop
Bowen Hills | 93m2 Barbershop and Espresso Bar Fitout
Welcome to Common Barbershop, our latest project—a barbershop and espresso bar located in Bowen Hills.
The Echo Projects Co team was engaged by the client and Studio LMD to deliver a refresh and full reconfiguration of the space, aiming to create an environment that truly reflects Common Barbershop’s brand and direction.
As specialty barbers and a go-to coffee spot on King Street, it was crucial to ensure a smooth transition between the barber and coffee areas, featuring a simple yet striking colour palette. The project scope included demolition works, updating essential services such as mechanical, lighting, and plumbing, installation of custom joinery and benchtops, feature tiling and fixtures throughout, and polished concrete floors.
The end result is a space that truly reflects Common Barbershop, bringing in warmth and appealing to their community of clients. The refurbishment has completely changed the configuration, making it feel spacious and functional.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Echo Projects Co was referred to us by our designer, Studio LMD and also a friend who had used them before and everything they said was true!
Working with the Echo Projects team was such a great experience. This was our first build using a builder and they made the process so easy. They were informative, supportive, gave realistic options and accommodated every decision we made. Even some of the strange or difficult ones.
There was a lot of communication from the team throughout the build and we were free to come and go which helped us feel involved as much as possible.
The standout was how clean the site was at all times. We felt like the job was being done right when we showed up and the place was spotless (as a construction site could be).
The finished product was perfect and the build quality high, making our space stand out as a barbershop.
We would use Echo Projects over and over and 100% would recommend their services to others.”
